MENTAL HEALTH SYMPTOMS THAT OFTEN GET OVERLOOKED


There are all these messages that try and remind us that we need to take care of our health, especially our mental health during the holidays and during this time of COVID. But there are a number of mental health symptoms that often get overlooked and include insomnia, feeling emotionally numb, miscellaneous body pains, loss of interest in things that we used to like to do and neglecting our hygiene. Many times, we just say that it will pass or it isn't a big deal, but when these things happen to us, they can mean that there is something deeper going on with us and we should really get it checked out. It may be nothing, but what happens if it something more serious? It's better to know right away than let it go on and affect our lives in negative ways.
